A 1487km bicycle path that runs from Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture (Choshi Station), through the Pacific coast of Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Aichi, and Mie Prefectures to Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture (Kada Port). Atsumi Peninsula is also a part of it, and you can enjoy scenic spots and sightseeing spots such as Cape Irago, Hiji no Ishimon, and Pacific Long Beach.
In May 2021, the Pacific Coast Cycling Route was designated as the world-class cycling route “National Cycle Route”. In addition to the promotion by the national government, Tahara City will also improve the environment for accepting foreign tourists.
